A young man tried to elope with a princess, but the king found out and offered him a sporting chance.  The king would put two slips of paper in a box, one marked "Death," the other marked "Princess."  To decide his fate, the young man was to be blindfolded and choose one paper.  The young man found out that the king didn't want him to win the Princess and therefore intended to mark both papers "Death."  He managed to win the princess despite this.  How?

14. Joe, his wife and his daughter are hiking in the woods when they come to a stream.  They must get to the other side to continue their hike and they notice a rowboat on their side of the stream.  They find a label on the boat that states that it only supports 200 pounds.  Joe weighs 180 pounds and the wife and daughter each weigh 90 pounds.  How do they get across?

16. It was the first day of school.  The teacher had several children in her class. She asked all the new children to write down their names and their date of birth for her.  The first two names she looked at were those of girls.  She saw that they both had the same last name.  They also had the same birthday - June 9, 1973.

"Will Jane and June Campbell please stand?" asked the teacher.
Two girls stood up, and the teacher saw that they were just alike.  "Oh, you're twins," she said.

One of the girls shook her head. "No," she said.  "We're sisters, but we're not twins."  How is this explained?
